About Us

A loves dance parties and candy and flowers, especially in hair, and dresses and hippie music and brunch and things that sparkle and more candy and seeing how hard she can make J laugh.

J is the strong, silent one. he has seven of the same exact white button down shirt. he likes hipster music and almonds. he can tell you anything you’ve ever wanted to know. okay, not anything, but he’s pretty dang impressive.  he loves spoiling A.

she’s a southerner. he’s a yankee.  married in april 2012 in dallas, texas and began this little european adventure just four months later.  hence the reason for the blog..

Thanks for the ‘like’. As soon as my wife’s knee is up to it we will get to stroll around Bruges. Lovely blogging, your happiness makes me smile. Thanks.

  12. Thank you for visiting my blog. My little tour of your blog, here, has been delightful. You two sound like the epitome of a young couple in love and enjoying all the good things of life as you start out. This is as it should be. May God richly bless you with continued love for each other even as you enjoy the richness of His creation and the glories of the many lands and cultures you explore. It looks as if you come from Dallas. My oldest daughter re-located to Houston from Portland, Oregon, last year. The cultures and climate are very different, but she has fallen in love with Texas. I look forward to my first visit there in a few months.

Incidentally, you are both very good writers, which I also enjoyed.
